From Observation to Determination

Research on what systems reveal, what evidence can support, and where inference begins.

IBC Labs examines the gap between what a system presents and what an evaluator can legitimately determine about the components, processes, and evidence behind an interaction. Our work develops foundational concepts, standards-oriented claim structures, and practical evaluation methods for systems operating under incomplete observability. The objective is not to make uncertainty disappear by assertion. It is to make the boundaries of observation, evidence, and conclusion explicit—so that evaluation remains rigorous, transparent, and defensible.
